Recent Blapp blog silence has been due to busy end-of-semester activities for the both of us. In other words, it's not you, it's us!
Rain/sleet/slush/snow storm has shut down parts of the state this morning, but the immediate Amherst-Noho area is simply a cold, soggy, gray mess, with only a few local school closings. Yuck.

Hello, old friends and happy belated birthday to Jay! I was looking through some old mail trying to find your address so I could send you a holiday card and found your 2006 Christmas letter that mentioned your blog, which for some reason I had never read until today. It's really great because I have a sense of what's been going on in your lives even though I've been out of touch. I'm sending a more complete letter with the aforementioned holiday card and look forward to reconnecting with you in 2009.
